The first official snowfall of the season came on Friday the 12th ..and that was just a small taste of what was to come! Snow in Washington = complete breakdown of all normal activities. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around, having lived in wintry Utah for 10 years, but nonetheless a true statement. Without getting into the gory details, everyone freaked, school was cancelled for the last 3 days before winter break and now we are sitting in snow up to our eyeballs! We had a HUGE wind storm pass through on Saturday night, which took out the power for the night, cancelled church on Sunday, and created some HUGE snow drifts in our yard. I have really loved all this CRAZY weather...it beats sitting in rain day in and day out! Just a little (or ALOT) of snow to spice up the forecast. Who doesn't love snow in December anyway?!

Wyatt has really conquered his fear of sledding this year and has loved every second out in the snow. Kesley is warming up to sledding as well. Her problem is not the height of the hills, (she's the adventurous one) it's the snow getting in her gloves that's the deal breaker. Eden really wants nothing to do with it. For all you hot weathered friends, how can you not look at this snow and not want to run and jump in it?!
