Minnesota Adventure--and that is was!

The 3 kids and I bravely attempted a flight from Seattle to Minnesota in July. It was a little stressful by myself on the plane but we made it and had so much fun romping around Minnesota with my parents who now live out there. I think it is a great place to live, even if my mom disagrees! We went to the Children's Museum, Fairbault water park, Lake Minnetonka, Mall of America and the zoo. One power packed 2 week vacation! The kids loved running around in a nice sized backyard; a true novelty to them! We also celebrated Kesley's 3rd birthday there! She is such a fun, happy, kind little girl...with the cheeks big enough to store a whole winter's worth of acorns for any hungry squirrel!

Eden Turns One!!!-- A Few Months Ago!

Okay, so I'm just getting into this blogging thing, so excuse the jumping around of the timeline, but I couldn't skip having these cute pics of Eden in the blog! My great friend, Rebecca, came and took these of Eden in June (she turned 1 on June 5th) and she does such a great job. Eden is so fun to have around. She is my best cuddler and loves to hug and wave and say "hi" to everyone. She is a happy little girl (when I am within 10 feet of her). She doesn't like to be too far away from me at any given moment, which can be a little frustrating but at least I know she is just crazy about me! She absolutely loves Kesley and Wyatt and being by them and involved in what they are doing. She is a lap hog and when the other kids are on my lap she likes to push them out of the way so she can have me all to herself...a fiesty one for sure! We can't imagine our lives without her!

Trip to Kauai--Our Second Honeymoon!

When was the last time Ben and I went on a vacation together by ourselves you ask? That would be our honeymoon 6 years ago! Yeah, a little embarrassing to admit, but nonetheless true; Which made this 8 day trip to Kauai that much more memorable and amazing! Just as I had so miticulously planned this trip, every day was planned out to the tee and we got to experience a bit of everything while there....kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, hiking, ropeswinging, and the best part...sleeping, uninterrupted with no human alarm clock to wake us up!!! We had a blast! My mom flew in from Minnesota (thanks mom!) to watch our 3 kids while we jaunted off. I highly recommend Kauai to anyone planning a trip to Hawaii soon!!!
