Blessing Outfit for Baby!

I just got this in the mail on Ebay....It will be the blessing outfit for our baby boy. I just love it. Not frilly but simple, clean, and a touch of blue. I only paid $16 and it is brand new. LOVE EBAY!!!

Easter Sunday

Well, if I had my ideal Easter Sunday it would NOT have included a downpour, windy, foggy day...but what can I expect in the Spring in Seattle? So these pics are in front of our fireplace instead of in some nice tulip patch (where I have no idea is located!) Our Easter was good. We went to church, and had a crazy good Easter feast at my Aunt Mary's home! I am stuffed just thinking about it!

Ben and Wyatt, Wyatt and Ben

How do I describe the Gorilla Glue Bond that makes up Ben and Wyatt's relationship? Wyatt is completely enamored with Ben and vice versa. Wyatt wants to be just like Ben and do everything he is doing. Any project Ben is working on, Wyatt is right there beside him copying whatever Ben does. He won't have anything to do with my nightly bedtime routine and instead wants Ben to read, snuggle and talk to him in bed every night. Almost every night Wyatt sneaks into our bed in the middle of the night...where do we find him?...on Ben's side snuggled up to him. It is the most sweet bond I have ever seen between a parent and child and I am so grateful for it...I hope this is the start of a long and special bond that lasts through adulthood for the two of them!

We were playing in the playroom, and I miraculously thought to take out my camera and snag some pics...

Eden- (21 months old) is turning in to the cutest toddler...She loves to cuddle, be read to in her room, have a jillion books in her crib when she naps and sleeps, and is saying so many more words. Ben is really loving her now, not that he wasn't before, but now he just can't get enough of her and she notices that and loves to love on him! She is my little social one and quite the little show stopper...


Kesley- (turning 4 in July) is so fun. She is a girl through and through and meticulously studies her princess books daily. She loves to twirl around the house, loves to look at books (not be read to), and asks every day to watch countless princess movies (which never happen). She is highly emotionally charged and you don't want to be around her in one of these fits of emotion. But she has such a happy spirit about her, that the outbursts don't seem so big (after they are done of course!) She loves to ride her bike, play BY HERSELF in her room..(no one is allowed in her room, even me), and have as many playdates and OTHER people's house as possible. She is adventurous and VERY opinionated...just like her mom!
Wyatt- 5- He is definitely the oldest! He likes to please, be responsible, and errs on the cautious side of most things. He is so good to his sisters but has recently decided that there need to be 2 moms in the house and tries to find as many times a day that he can advise, punish, or reprimand one of this sisters. He is reading books now. He just learned to ride a 2 wheeled bike and is SOOO proud of himself! He is curious about everything and very perceptive of all that goes on around him.

Our Sledding Fix!

The snow that has abounded this winter has (I think) officially left us but that didn't stop the kids from getting in a little more sledding! A couple weeks ago I was out talking to a neighbor and Wyatt pulled our disks out and starting sliding down our driveway..( a pretty steep driveway to be able to catch speed on a dry pavement!) They all had a blast! I love these kids!

The other day Kesley asked me "When you have been a mommy and daddy for a long time do you be a child again?" ( In other words, what happens after being a parent) It was so cute. I told her that that no, we didn't get to be children again, but that we would be grandma and grandpa to her kids. That solved her curious question for the minute!
